Doug and Telisha Williams played to a welcoming crowd at the Roanoke Main Library last night, September 16th, 2008. The show was FREE but the quality was high, a standard for the library’s Emerging Artist Series. Doug and Telisha mastered the stage of the Brody Patio (side note: a charming space for outdoor events) for 2 sets of songs from their album “Rope Around My Heart”, a few from their new album set for release in a few months, as well as some favorites from Patsy Cline and Hank Williams Sr. among others. All in all the evening was a completely pleasant experience and another great event by Roanoke Public Libraries.
