Roanoke Tattoo Festival: Artist Profile #5
myScoper.com proudly announces the upcoming and radically monumental Roanoke Tattoo Festival coming this Mother’s Day weekend at The Hotel Roanoke. The Tattoo Fashion Show at the Taubman earlier this year gave us a taste of the local flavor but this new festival promises to bring internationally acclaimed body artists to Roanoke, VA. May 8-10 will be chock full of tattoos, body art demos, competition, live music, and burlesque! Each week leading up to the festival we will profile one of the featured tattoo artists that will appear at this year’s festivities. So if you’re thinking about a tattoo, now is definitely the time. The world of body art will be descending on Roanoke early May! For more information about the festival: click here! Also, for vendors and businesses, they’re still looking for booths and sponsors, so contact the organizers at this link if you’re interested!
ARTIST PROFILE #5
Victor Lopez (Spain)
If you are looking for a “dark style” tattoo then Victor Lopez is your man. He is the owner of two Mad Tattoo locations in Spain. On his site, he simply describes himself as a dark world artist, father of two living in Madrid for nine years. “His family is his life and the tattoos his passion” but he is best described through his work…
See complete images of Lopez’ work on his myspace page or website.

He is an awesome artist & he is usually at the National Tattoo Convention which is in Charlotte, NC this weekend (April 19-20, 2009) if you want to check out his work or get something started to finish in May!
