A Star City Harbinger Exclusive by River “Car Less Brit” Laker

Star City Harbinger’s foreign correspondent River “Car Less Brit” Laker gets an exclusive velocipedal interview with Governor Tim Kaine during his first ride down the Roanoke River Greenway yesterday.

The Governor’s bike ride caps off a week in Roanoke dedicated to the Valley’s “booming bike culture.”  Wednesday evening, two new pedal-centric exhibits opened at the Virginia Museum of Transportation.  A few blocks away, Car Less Brit Museum also had its public debut.

With a FlipCamera in one hand and a handle-bar grip in the other, the Car Less Brit talks with the Governor about the Governor’s favorite Virginia bike trails, stimulus money for alternative transportation, and . . . spandex.
